This sexy mumma is a fellow photographer & friend. After an evening of drinks & me blabbering on about my passion for boudoir, El said "you know what, you've even talked me into a shoot!" - and from that moment, it was on. El was my very first boudoir portfolio model & she did not disappoint. The session made me come alive & I have never felt as confident in a genre as I do with boudoir, right from this very first session. Let's have a read about her experience.

Did you have any obstacles or fears about doing this session?
Yes! So nervous about being in front of a camera....especially in lingerie!

What made you take the leap of faith to do a boudoir session?
Something I’ve always wanted to try and thought it could be fun.
Besides not getting any younger so why not now and stop worrying what other people may think as I want to do it for me.

How did you feel BEFORE your session?
Very nervous but pre session info and Lauren’s encouragement put me at ease.

How did you like working with my team? Did you love your hair & makeup?
So much fun getting pampered! Talented make up and hair stylist to make me feel beautiful.

How would you describe the session?
After the first few minutes I forgot I was even in just lingerie and really started to enjoy the shoot. Lauren was very professional and gave lots of direction with poses. It was so much fun and we had plenty of laughs!

Was the session different than you expected? If so, how?
I didn’t expect to have so much fun!

How did you feel AFTER your session?
Empowered and confident

What was your favorite part?
Being pampered and made to feel and look beautiful. Having music playing throughout the shoot to help relax, have fun and no awkward silence!

What was your least favorite part?
Feeling like I’d been at the gym the next day. Hahahaha

Would you ever do another session? Heck Yes

How did you feel when you saw your images?
Surprised! Overjoyed! Amazed at how some of the poses turned out...some felt awkward on the day but Lauren knows what she is doing and ensures you look amazing and curves are enhanced.

Did anything change about the way you see yourself after the session?
I’ll never be happy with parts of my body, but after the session I certainly feel more confident and appreciate the way I look. I think in 30yrs time I’ll look back and be happy that I did this now.

Do you have any advice for women considering doing a boudoir session?
Go for it!!!! You won’t regret It!!! Don’t forget to breathe...

Any final thoughts on your session, or anything you'd like other woman to know?
Stop worrying about what others think or worrying that you’re not beautiful or sexy enough as you will have so much fun and feel gorgeous and empowered by the end of your session. Plus you will love the beautiful products you can choose to keep forever. Lauren is so talented and will ensure you have a wonderful experience from start to end.
