Client Feature: Bec The beautiful Bec talks about her Boudoir shoot & experience. How old are you? :37 What was your body image like in childhood?: Low confidence, low self esteem, overweight, self conscious. What is your relationship like with your body?: Becoming more loving and respectful Describe what you loved about the experience. I loved pampering myself prior to the session, nails, facial and just putting the attention back on me and my body. I loved getting outside my comfort zone and wearing garments that I wouldn’t usually wear. I came away from the session more confident and it has inspired me. I look forward to clothes shopping now as I see myself in a different light and I’m happy to try new types of clothing I wouldn’t usually pick and I have the confidence to wear them. What made you take the leap of faith to do a boudoir session? I took the opportunity to inspire other women to see their true beauty Did you have any obstacles or fears about doing this session? Yes. I didn’t feel I would be good enough. Was worried the garments wouldn’t fit. Didn’t feel how I could look attractive in them. Did I provide enough pre-session info? Yes How did you like working with my team? Love the team, they are all amazing, inspiring women How did you like your hair and makeup? Loved it Was the session different than you expected? Yes. How would you describe the session? Like a workout session lol, location was nice, I was relatively comfortable within myself, lots of mixed emotions throughout the session- happy, overwhelmed, excited, nervous, insecure to empowered. What was your favorite part? Wearing garments I usually wouldn’t wear, having hair and make up done, (listening to Lauren sing). What was your least favorite part? Doing up the studs on the bodysuits How did you feel when you saw your images? I felt beautiful, empowered and had more confidence. I was overwhelmed that the image was actually me. Did anything change about the way you see yourself after the session? More confidence within myself, inspired to step outside my comfort zone a lot more Would you ever do another session? Definitely Would you tell your friends about this session? Definitely Do you have any advice for women considering doing a boudoir session? Trust the process - The impact from a session with you lasts more than just the time at the shoot.
Any final thoughts on your session, or anything you'd like me to know? I should have drank more water and had a small snack before we started.
